13.5 what size wheels up front
Ok so I've searched and even called shops that have done the conversion for promo reasons like enjuku etc etc. and no one can give me an answer. So I've completed my s13.5 conversion over the weekend and now my tires touch tge front. Bumper I'm driving on 18x9.5 +22 in front. What tire size do you guys recommend ? I currently have a 255 40 18 so it's pretty balky. Any suggestions ?

Defiant I was kinda trying to stay away from cutting into the bumper. But looks like that's what a lot of people are doing. So what setup are you running up front if you don't mind me asking?

And falkon240 I can run a 35 series but I don't like the stretched look. So I wouldn't know how wide to go. Maybe a 235 35 18 would do the trick. But I don't wanna be spending cash on tires unless I'm certain they'll clear.

Yeah I was trying to see how big I could go haha. It worked on the pop up head light front. But as soon as I did the conversion. No bueno haha. And only reason I went 18 9.5 was cuz enjuku said they drove that size on there drift / track s13.5. But now that I call them there telling me they use 17s

I am running 275 35 18 up front with no spacers. The trick is to run some adjusted toy arms to push the wheels to the center of the area.
Here's and idea of mine. hope that helps Last edited by quickdiversion; 06-23-2014 at 02:43 PM.. |

I also forgot to mention the offset is +12.
I have no spacers up front and they clear my coils. Even more funny these wheels and tires clear stock suspension.... My problem I was having and the reason I am using adjustable tension arms is because the s15 front end and wheel well is a little longer in the front, so I had about 1 inch of space to the door side of the fender and a 3 inch gap on the bumper side of the fender. I used the tensions are to extend the wheel base and center the wheel in the wheel well and then had the toe and chamber aligned separate the measurement the tension arm effects. It sounds backwards but completely closed the tension arms are shorter than stock to give adjustment both ways |
