Danville VA. http://www.virclub.com/
The event this weekend was run with an Audi club. I usually go with NASA. I recommend to anyone on the East coast to make this track one of your "Absolutely must go to" tracks. Simply amazing in ANY configuration.

Speed channel broadcast a race from VIR a few weeks ago. Beautiful circuit. The turn around the oak tree and those esses look like the great old tracks that were run in the 50s. Maybe ne day............

This is my favorite stretch of back road, and I drive it every day....Not the mention the touge battles we have on it.
I took these on my morning commute to work today..... downhill 10mph J turn... the begining of the S turn... comming out of the S turn into a short lived straight away... I'll take some better pictures tomorrow.

either hwy180 or hwy129 near dahlonega, GA. some of the best mountain roads on the planet, i drive over an hour to get there just to have fun on them i'll post some pics of our mountain run last weekend when i can get on a non-work computer.
other than that, not much compares to the Dragon (deal's gap) on the NC/TN line (part of the same hwy129 in GA). www.tailofthedragon.com for those who haven't seen the map as far as tracks are concerned, turns 1-7 at Road Atlanta

SR motor set/clip $2500+, FMIC kit $700+, Downpipe $100+, 3" exhaust $500+, Misc install parts $100+, Shop labor for install $1000+ and you still only make 220rwhp for $5000 so what's so CHEAP about the SR swap again? |
