Awesome car !!! This is like the car that I envisioned a while back. I always loved the Z, but wasnt a fan of the VG30DETT setup as it was complex, expensive and pretty cramped. I chose the 1JZ for my 240SX because its cheaper then a 2JZ or RB26 yet delivers more power capability then an RB25, you can say its almost like a 26. Plus the parts for Toyota engines are way easier to get here in the US. I have Toyota of Elmhurst down the street from me and they keep twin turbo parts in stock.

2450 is pretty light! Do you have hardtop? Was that even an option on any Z32?

So is that a yes or no on yours being a hardtop? Sorry if I some how missed it. Haha.
Also, I used to think RB's were good looking engines. They still are, but man I love the flat top symmetrical design of JZ's. Mega boners will be had upon completion!

Finished stripping the interior
Then I washed and prepped the bay for paint, I used thin rhinoliner. Put the motor back in to start mocking up wiring/cooling/fuel stuff. Started prepping for the cage by removing the sound deadening where it was needed for the cage. I'll get the rest later when I have more time, I shaved 20 lbs just from the floor board! Also removed a few brackets/bracing that were in the way of the cage. Removed the windshield as well. Getting rid of ALL of the stock ABS shit. Before, fluid was going from the BMC to the ABS pump in the back of the car, then to the front. I'll either go with stainless line or bend up some hardline and put a proportioner in between them for the new setup. Did some tandem drifting racing with the haggard mcqeens, then it went off for le cageee!! |

Haha I will man!! I can't wait! I don't get why so many people dislike them. Sure do, I have a Mishimoto rad, ARC BOV kit (RARE!!), ALL of the stock TT piping, all of the stock TT A/C lines and a new TT condenser with like 1500 miles, short shifter, and stock turbos in great condition. |

Vie for sponsorships unless you already have them, NismoTuner21. This build will be legendary as you seem to have all of the appointments inspected and addressed.

This car actually had no dent's or anything at the beginning of the day, but since it's rusty and has no title, it's a missile. lol My buddy Jimmy who I shared the car with More cage work.. Started mocking up the cooling stuff.. |
