350z gods chime IN PLEASE
so a buddy of mine wants to sell me his 350z for a really good price only thing is he says that the BCM and Fuse box under the pedal need to be replaced due to being fried. now my question is how hard is to repair this can it be done at home?? or does Nissan need to do it.

What caused them both to fry? That's not normal, I'd be looking at other potential issues. The IPDM sometimes goes, and can be a pain, but the BCM is pretty rare. The BCM controls a bunch of functions, the important ones being unlocking the doors and relaying the intelligent key info to the ECU. Swapping it should be pretty easy, but you need to make sure you get the correct part number, it varies depending on trim, year, Z or G, etc. A trip to the dealer may be involved to have it programmed.
