Disconnecting the Alarm
I recently bought a 95 s14. I needed to fix a few things to pass inspection, one of them being the horn. So I popped the hood and looked at the fuse box and noticed it just needed a fuse because there wasn't one in. So I go down to the store, buy one, come back and pop it in. Horn works. Great.
A few minutes later I open my passenger door from the inside (all locks on car don't work with the key) and the alarm goes off. I try putting the key in the ignition and starting it, etc. Nothing worked so I had to pull the fuse for a bit. So I want to just disconnect my Alarm until I can get to fixing it so it doesn't do that. Is there a fuse I would need to pull? Or what? I've tried pulling both Theft relays under the hood, and even with both out it still goes off. What would be my best bet? |

Ok well it's going to be kinda hard, it's connected to the starter and ignition if you pull the brain out the car will not start, you're going to have to pull it and solder a few wires under the dash ign and starter wires on the cars harness

I was hoping it would be as simple as pulling or disconnecting something. I'll get around to it next weekend, I started priming today for paint soon.
EDIT: Thanks though man! I can't find the answer to that question anywhere, I've been searching for a while now. |

Hopefully I can get this damn thing disconnected before I have to go get it inspected.
If not the inspector is gonna have an alarm chewing his ass out every time he opens a door, hood, or trunk. |
