s14 ATTN S14 Owners: VIN # in panels of s14's? Picture

Most manufacturers put the VIN# on every panel of newer cars. should be stamped on the each fender inside the engine bay - inside the trunk, etc. Thsi way you can tell if panel were replaced -

Do s14's (specifically 97-98, but either shoudl do) have the VIN#'s on original panels? Could someone who knows they have original bodypanels check...

Thanks

no, its just a sticker that says nissan OEM body panel or something like that, def doesnt have the VIN on it, the sticker on the driver side strut tower says something about only use nissan clear coat or something stupid, again nothing about the VIN

um.. that's false. that number isn't a vin number. it's a product number.
But newer cars do have vin numbers in engine bay, trunk, door, and dash.

Kouki S14s have a numbered sticker on every panel, though I've never looked to see what it is. Zenkis didn't ever have them, at all.

just look for the r dot sticker..... u can totally tell the difference from an aftermarket fender vs OEM... gaps and such... corner gaps are usually the tell all... if u look at the bolt holes on top of the fender, and u see thats its been reamed... thats basically a tell all....

My 98SE has them on both fenders, all glass, I haven't checked the hood/trunk or doors.
