I want to convert my my S13 240sx climate controls to Silvia digital climate controls. I know the parts I need to collect. My question is does anybody know if the S13 1800sx parts are the same as the S13 Silvia... |

digital climate controls only came in late model 180sx.
s13 silvias were only produced till 94, and the D.C.C. was introduced in the 96-98 180sx. therefore, get parts from a 96-98 180sx, not an s13 silvia. |

I cannot really say that DCC has been introduced in late model 180sx kouki (type-x or whatever you call it).....The thing I know is that there are 2 version of DCC, which has different plug colors on the back of the controller (grey VS black).....The late model DCC has the grey plugs......I know it because the grey plug and the black one are not compatible with each other......However, it only matters when you bought the whole car's harness from one person and bought the DCC from another person, which sometimes you didn't notice the differences when you bought it......
If you want to do a conversion, try getting everything from one seller.....And, try to get as a complete set......It's a lot easier and less work for you..... DCC is great.....I love it......

Its not, FAST shows Silvia's used DCC back in 1990.
I had a early 90's 180sx with DCC as well

Yeah... Why wouldnt it be?
if he doesnt Sensor/motors should be the same in the other models, main worry is the DCC and wire harness

My 94' had it as well.
I modded my 240 with it and love it. May be a bit more expensive in the event of a malfunction; but well-worth the aesthetics IMO. Didn't take too long- Plenty of writeups for the install online to refer to. Only took me a few hrs taking my time... and I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
