What's needed to swap flanges on the Boost Designs DP

I just took a pic of my ceramic'd Boost Designs downpipe, and figured I'd post it up to show exactly what's necessary to get the Ford 5-bolt flange on the 3" pipe. They ship the dps with a mercedes/dodge 5-bolt.. which isn't the standard for aftermarket turbos.

It's an ATP turbo flange, with 2.5"->3" machined transition. You can also see the 2 spacer rings that needed to be welded in. Also, at the lower (rightmost) spacer ring, that's where I cut the downpipe (at their weld and rewelded it,) and flipped the bend upsidedown.
Then.. the first o2 sensor bung I welded in didn't work anymore, so I had to weld in a third after realizing that the 90* bend needed to be reversed.

So ya. Instead of me talking about how much effort it is to swap flanges, figured I'd show you all the welds that were required to get the wastegate dump to stay rerouted into the exhaust.

I didn't cut up the BD downpipe to mate with the sr20det downpipe. I cut up the sr20det downpipe, which is still on the car. I may or may not take a pic.

I am running a cat. The hacked up sr20det downpipe is mated to an aftermarket high-flow cat.

on the subject of those flanges. Jeff, i have an air research t3 thats just about z31 specs. can you recommend me a flange or do you need more information? i bought one at jotech and it was 1/2" too short all the way around to fit any of the bolt holes. THANKS!

Picture of it? z31 is a nissan specific 7-bolt flange. The flange that came on the Boost Designs downpipe was a Mercedes 5-bolt, and the top 2 bolt holes worked, the others were about ~1/2" too far apart. The flange shown (and the one I think you bought) are Ford 5-bolts. If they're off by 1/2" too short.. look for a dodge/mercedes 5-bolt.
