The reasone they lost is because he scored 39 on 37 attempts. He made 14 of them. That's not even 38%. Don't get me wrong I think Kobes is one of the all time greats, but a performance like that only hurts your team. Some nights you have to realize it's just not your night.

Although if those shots were spread out by more players I bet the result would still be 14 made shots due to the lack of talent on that roster.

I'm not a Laker fan, in fact I'm not a fan of one team, I follow players more than teams.

Kobe is one of the most amazing players to play the game period!
The lack of talent the Lakers have is forcing Kobe to take more shoots. Does he have a choice? He sure does, but..... He chooses to take more shoots in his mindset he feels the team has a better chance of winning this way.

In a way I agree with Kobe's decision.

Lakers fans buying tickets are doing so because they want to see Kobe play, not anyone else on that team, so I say let him loose. I think the only thing the fans have to look forward to is seeing him break the points record.
