Bad Idling on 95 KA motor
I installed a 95 KA in my 93 hatck back in 2011 and drove it from FL to MO. In 2012 I blew a head gasket and I figure the cause was not torquing the head bolts after the 500 miles ( trip was 723m) I replaced the gasket in summer 2012 but it never started and since I was leaving in a couple months I just stored it.
When I returned 2013 I adjusted the timing and it started right up, but has been idling bad ever since. Here is a vid of it; http://youtu.be/GchBQULhaeI I think the timing might be off a little still or there is a huge vac leak under the intake but cannot pi point the location, any help you can give would help guys, thanks in advance. |

That massive whooshing sound is air, which is why I think there is a bad vaccum leak. I timed everything according to the FSM and even tried a light. It satrts perfectly but needs assistance to idle, then after about two minutes running it will idle high then low. A buddy says it might be the FPR so i'm going to get one and see what happens. Thanks for your input paco.
