S13 Cams in an S14

I have heard of people using the S13 DOHC cams in S14 KAs. Does anyone know anything about this setup? Does it make a difference? I just don't wanna do all this work if you only get like 5 hp.

Welcome to Earth.

240/248 degree versus 232/232 on the S14. Yields a little more power, up to 8-9hp with other supporting mods. Cheap and easy to do.

If you search anywhere on this, you'll find more information than you can read in a day.

Search where? I'm not an idiot but I really can't find any definative info on this. All I can find is some random guy putting the cams in his car and it "feels faster" to him. I don't know about you but that's not really good enough for me. I searched on here and google, and couldn't find anything. Do you have a thread saved or do you know where else to search? The KA is a bit new to me so I just need a little help with this, thanks.

This is a definitive answer. What more do you need?

Yes people do it. Yes you get more power even though it may not be the 4000hp your looking for. Yes it dont cost much and yes its easy. Buy a Chilton manual and devote about 3 hours of your time to do it. Have fun.
