RB RB26DETT in a 240sx?

Hey everyone, first post here. Now, while there may be plenty of research to look into, I'd like to know and ask a few things.

I recently picked up a 1997 240sx SE in manual, and love it. But, I want just a bit more power, and am aiming to stray from the KA24DE with something like the RB26DETT. Is it possible, and typically as easy as it is said and done? I'm also possibly looking into SR20's and even RB25's. Now, what will it take for me to have the RB26 fit into my engine bay and run perfectly? I mean, do I buy the engine, and work with a different trans? Or what? If it all possible, can someone, or everyone, give me a potential parts list of what I'll need?

For a new guy I'm asking a whole lot, but am just getting into 240's after losing my 2JZ-GTE SC300. Any wherever I look, I get conflicting info on trying to work with my new car. Any help would be great.
