My 1991 240sx Track Build

I'm finally in a position to own and maintain a track car!

I've also looked forward to starting a thread on here since I joined in 2010. So here we finally go.

I'll start with the current mods and follow with some pictures and continue to add updates.

All advice is welcome!

First things first I'm not starting from scratch. To save money I found something priced fairly well (at least I think so)

Chassis/Suspension
NISMO POWER BRACE
ES HYPER FLEX BUSHING KIT
ES SUBFRAME BUSHINGS
MEGAN OUTER TIE RODS
DIF SOLID STEERING BUSHING
MEGAN TRACK COILOVERS Any thoughts/recommendations on these?

MOOG REAR BALL JOINTS
OEM Z32 BMC
HAWK HP+ PADS
Z32 CALIPERS

ENGINE/TRANS/ETC
NISMO CLUTCH SLAVE

MISHIMOTO SNEOSR ADAPTER
WIRING SPECIALTIES ENGINE HARNESS (CHEAPO ONE)
N65 MAF W/ PIG TAIL

750CC JECS INJECTORS
HALTECH ELITE 1000 ECU + ADAPTER
CIRCUIT SPORTS FILTER RELOCATOR
EARLS OIL COOLER
S13.4 VALVE COVER
ISR V2 MANIFOLD
MISHIMOTO OIL CATCH CAN
MISHIMOTO COOLANT RES
5353 COMP TURBO W/ .018 RESTRICTOR SCREEN
TOMEI FPR + GAUAGE
AEROMOTIVE FPR
CXRACING INTERCOOLER KIT
B&M SHIFTER
3" ISIS BLAST PIPES

Engine build sheet: Thoughts appreciated

Things i'd like to tackle first:
(Please send any advice)
1. Wiring; the wiring in the engine bay hurts my eyes. I'd love to clean it up a bit.
2. Paint; I've purchased the necessary equipment to be able to paint and would like to give it a go. I hate red paint.
This list and pictures will grow I wanted to get this started though

Purchased my seat rails from Street faction and they came in today. When I backed my car out of the garage (garage is a mess no room to work) I noticed a drip from under the trunk. Found a fuel leak.

Never had to tackle a fuel leak looks simple but looks can be deceiving i'll be searching the forums and youtube for some assistance.

Not sure what type of track you'll be doing, I assume drift? If so, I'd go with fortune auto coilovers over the megans. For steering, run a slightly lengthened s13 FLCA (maybe like 15-20mm), maxima inner tie rod, and an OEM style outer S14 rod end. If you already know how to drift, get a cut knuckle. If you're going to learn how to drift, run stock knuckles until you master the basics, then switch to a cut knuckle. The rest of your suspension/chassis looks great.

Regarding your leak, check for cracks in the hardline and tears in the rubber. Make sure you're running J30R9 rated rubber fuel injection hose and using proper fuel line clamps, and not the ones you have there.

Have fun with your build

Really appreciate your response. I'll go through and swap out the hoses and fuel line clamps.

Definitely will add the items you mentioned to the list too.
