The battery won't store power. Every time I turn it off, it won't turn back on without a jump.
Just thought I'd share this with you... *sniff*...

I need to do it at home, no sound card at work, sorry. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> So, when I get a chance, I'll do it, I promise.

I licked the battery, nothing happened, except the little red cover popped off. But it wouldn't turn over...

Haha!

Sounds like alternator or battery... alternators go and cause the car to run off the battery, which drains it too much to restart the car. &nbsp;Sounds like you've got a handle on the battrey already.

I was thinking it might be the alternator... however, everything seems to be fine once I jump-start the car (power is alternated just as usual). However, as soon as I turn the car off, the battery won't store the power that I needed, so it won't turn back on. It sucks... But that's ok. I'm getting it checked out tomorrow.

Right, but it's gonna be easier for me just to have someone test my battery and see if that's it. So that's what I'll do.

Anyway, it was the alternator AND the battery. So, it runs ok now. I'm not sure, this may have been my stalling problem. I beat the shit out of my car last night (driving I mean) trying to race these two sissy girls in their automatics who wouldn't even budge. (No offense auto-drivers!) and it hasn't stalled out on me yet. It still almost shuts off when I slow down in gear, but... argh, I don't know. Anyway, the repairs are well over 300 US $$$. And that sucks!

Yeah, it was done at a Nissan Dealership. And $300 was the parts only with a discount (I worked there and my boyfriend still works there.) Anyway... they replaced all my belts, checked the oil, changed the new battery (Nissan Battery) and the alternator. It still idles funny. Maybe I should invest money in some Magnecors.
