Aeromarker springs?

I just acquired some Aero Markers for my R32 and whoever designed these must be a douche because the mirrors are held in but a weird spring. One side is nice and tight and the other feels loose.

What has anyone does to fix this? Is it as simple as getting a new spring? Has anyone just bonded the two to make them a single piece?

Well, I guess the meant more so is it any special ass spring or can I just go out and replace it with something off McMaster or some shit. I'd hate to put too much pressure and fuck 'em up m8.

Honestly preferred these over Ganadors. I'm one of 'those.'

possibly the only thing i?ll ever agree with you on

yeah they?re pretty light weight springs. i feel like if you can find one that?s the right strength, as long as it?s long enough, you could trim and bend to work on the mirror. if you find one that works plz report back just in case haha

I'm going to take them apart tonight to try to do a little examining. The other side is nice and tight so I'll probably just measure that one and order another 4 - 2 to replace what's on there and 2 to throw into the junk drawer if they go to shit again.

I'll keep y'all posted.
