car problems

93 240sx ka24de

My car has a hesitation problem at a certain throttle posistion somewhere in the 5-15% throttle range all the time. This problem is worse when it's a cold start and isn't as bad once it warms up. I checked the cap and rotor and they apear fine so checked the timing. When I did check the timing I noticed that the light would flicker and it would get worse/better when I moved the clamp and wire coming off the distributor. The car bucks when I start driving at that throttle posistion under normal driving but i'll give it more gas and it doesn't buck but it feels like it doesn't have any power. The car never feels like it has any power either. I hope someone could help.

Thanks

Well since you're a noob, you will need to read and dl the FSM
and you should be able to find out how to diagnose your problem. It'll help you out a lot.
