I have a white 97 kouki as well & due to my obsessive nature towards them (and my love for everything blue & white) I've just about seen it all yet I honestly still find myself in awe of yours! Gotta love a build that starts off as a clean white "virgin" chassis and blossoms into a simple yet detailed ride like your own. More power to ya & keep up the good work.

Btw I just subscribed to your thread so I'll be checking in on ya to see how this finishes out... Do Work Son!

Nice work. Whenever you do tubs, do you cut the overhang of the strut tower off once you weld the tub in? I would assume yes but I didn't know if that would take away from the strength of the tower.

We left the overhang for now but if he has clearence issues with it then yes were going to cut it.

Thanks man, its an awesome feeling knowing that all the hard work thats being put into this car is appriciated. Every response and feedback on this thread only pushes me to get this thing running faster.

We left the overhang for last just because we didnt want the strut tower to get flimsy. After everything is done, ill cut the overhang off. Looks like he tubs defenetly strengthen the front of the chasi.

yes, for now just the bay will get painted. the exterior still looks good. but i am deciding if i am gonna do overs or not. it will get painted eventually.

TopHat mounts are on their way and motor will be getting ordered at the end of the week..

thanks guys, after the motor is in everything else will come alot faster.

got a bit bored so decided to paint my interior. nothing fancy but looks alot better than before. couple runs in some spots but not too bad.

and no, i didnt cover my windows. lol just the door panels.. i gotta scrape all the glue from tint anyways.
