thanks man, it used to be you would keep your original rating but would have a special designation at the end I.E. AD3(SEAL) but now SEALs have their own rating which is SO. It stands for Special Warfare Operator, they've moved to this new rate because SEALs were still taking tests for their original job fields that they hadn't worked for years.
