Oh man...we all need better jobs dude. Theres so much I'd love to do to my subie too...If I had the money you can bet I'd have a WRX motor in mine. But of course im freakin broke.

I think my 240 was leaking from both the front and rear seals too. It always seemed like such a pain to bother trying to fix it.

well..it seems to be leaking from behind the pulley and the rear main seal. At first it was i thought it was from the oil pan..but we replaced it with a seal and with some sealant, but still leaked..it isnt as bad as before..but a little here and there..and when i did go out to practice..and it will kinda smoke a little..lol

but yes..im just waiting to finish up on the sr and then go all out because i know the motor will be in great shape..and i also need some good coilovers..but man this project is getting a little pricey and taking up some time..i need to find another better job that pays a little more so i can afford to do all the things i wanted to do..

I went to an event at Willow Springs that was put on by these guys: Extreme Speed Track Events

Sometimes they do special pricing where its only $75 per day, which is pretty awesome.

They do self tech events, so I think you'de be able to skate by with an oil leak, since they dont actually look at your car....but yeah, for most other track events, i think they inspect your car to see if it meets their standards...which includes no oil leaks.

But yeah...sounds like your clutch is pretty funky. Wheres your oil leak coming from?

Marcus..i love to man..its just that i dnt think my motor will be able to handle it..it has been kinda weird on me lately..im not sure how it feels but sometimes when i drive and i let go of the clutch..it doesnt catch on hard enough like it used to..but if i pop the clutch really hard it does..but im afraid of ruining my clutch..thats about it..and the oil leak on my motor..so i need to make sure there is significant oil before going out to the track..and most of all i definitely need tires..but i hope to go to the next event..imma save up on the tires and head out there..which one have you gone to so far??..did you go the one yesterday at the fresno fair grounds??

I do but I don't have the money for 2 cars, or the place to keep them. I just bought a Ducati recently too, so i think i've spent enough on vehicles.
