i never understoode the need of a booste gauge....i mean it doesnt matter if u know what psi u on...the only one i would need is under the hood sho whne im tuning u can see if everything i working right....maybe a tranny temp and a oild pressure gauge.....maybe

boost gauge = in case of boost spike or intake piping failure/ boost leak of any sort. as with any gauge the purpose is to make sure you know what's going on with your engine, and knowing how much pressure your intake is seeing vs. how much you SHOULD be seeing is very helpful.

my boost gauge:

if i had gotten one a bit smaller it would be perfect, but i'm still able to see the important stuff.

When I go turbo, I'll prolly just put the other gauges on the apillar and maybe turbo timer and stuff in the ashtray or on top of the steering column.

NOOOOO a boost gauge is one of the most important things you will have in a turbocharged car. You never know when something will go wrong..a boost gauge, EGT(exhaust gas temp) gauge and a a/f meter are the most important monitoring devices in a turbo car.

Here are some options if you want to mount gauges and/or HKS EVC and AFR. These are NISSAN Specific panels. I'm going to mount my 46mm egt. EVC IV and Super AFR in this.

Once anyone sees the gauges on the A-pillar they will know that your forced induction. I know when I look at a civic and see the a-pillar full-o-gauges I going to have some fun w/ him. Mine are also mounted on the A-pillar but the boost controller is going the useless cubby hole under the radio that a this time holds the make shift garbage can

thanx everyone for input. i especially like those hks setups. but do they only hold 46mm gauges? is that what size autometer uses? also what gauge brands are good but wont make me pay out the ass?
