240 problems?

When i do get my 240, i want to make sure that it's not going to fall apart on me after i get it. I realize that what i'm looking for (fastback) are somewhat older cars (like my rex), so i don't expect to get a PERFECT 240, but what are common problems that you guys have experienced with your cars? What should i look for when shopping? After all, i can't be putting money into a 180sx if the thing won't run in 240sx form now can i? gratzi.

The only problem that I have with my s13 fb is the 3rd gear syncro, which I have explained on a previous post. It has 211,000 miles and runs like a champ!

i dunno really trust the eco built ka24..i mean it's a great bloack but it seems nissan was thinking stright $ when they thought up the internals...if i was going 2 keep the ka...i'd start by changing the bearings,gaskets, to a more race made alloy or metal ....also new timing chain and FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.....CHECK THE CLUTCH ASSEMBLY &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'> &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'> &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>
