Ok, i've heard it all about the sr20 clip. What i want to know is what YOU guys paid for the clip, not some magazine who got "hooked up" or anything. THere's always those little unexpected "purchuses" that i figure would go with it too...like hey, i actually need to buy "" . So what is THE deal with the sr20 clip? I hear soooo many different price quotes...but what are "real" price quotes from people who HAVE THE SR20 CLIP? Thanks a biggity bundle...

i had a yellow rex once , anyway i got an s13 red top clip, a spec clutch, apex turbo timer, and a autometer boost guage for $3000, plus $300 for shipping to a truck yard about 5 miles from my house, then i had to rent a truck with a flatbed trailer to go pick it up, i cant remember how much that was. I also got a downpipe, test pipe and a bosch feul pump for $400, thats about all i needed besides fluids.
i almost forgot, i also got the flywheel resurfaced a mechanic friend of mine did that at his work, so that might cost a little

from whom did you all get these?

A front clip run from 2200-4000 depending where you get it, what link in the supply chain that person is. If you are in LA, SF or SAC you have access to the major importers that supply most of the country. Basically there are about 3 major importers that "suck up" all the good available parts from Japan. Some of these importers have shipents of random parts, 2 or more 40ft. containers a month.

Got my S13 Blacktop clip cheap....let's say with installation i'll still be at 3k.

ok first off, im new here...so hello all, good to meet you.

this is weird, but im in the same boat as you, i also own a crx (will be sold in a few weeks) and have plans on an S13 clip. My plan is to pick it up straight from the shop. Im in canada and im quite close to Minneapolis, so im gonna drive there and pick it up.
Basically, if you're not speding on shipping, you'd save quite a bit of cash...it might NOT be an option for you depending on where u live. Bottom line, all in all my total costs with duty and taxes at the border, is about $3600 CAD so ~2500USD.
good luck to ya
