haha thats liek the 3rd supra ive seen with a nissan engine. I saw i think to Supras with RB26s from Top Secret
But why would you put sumin like this in a car that had a better (more powerful engine). I would rather put an RB26, plus he is taking away the SRs from the more deserving 240s.
Whatever floats his boat
EDIT: I don't think its in Jap, looks more like arabic possibly

Going from a 2JZGTE to an SR20DET, would be like going from a racing bike, to a bmx on a road. Not a smart choice if thats for racing. Even if it were for a shop, the RB26DETT would be a much better choice. Hmmm, They shouldnt do that to a Supra. They should just give it to me.

If any of you are subscribed to Super Street, the coverr car is a Top Secret supra with the RB26DETT, but there are many pages about Drifting, and swaps, and cool stuff like that, so if you dont already have it, look for it!

Well, long time ago, i read in Option (acutally my cousin translated it for me) that the reason (that particular supra) they put in a sr was because it acutally has a better top speed ( means it can go faster) than the rb. I wondered, WTF? how does that make sence??? It said something about the way the motor works in a sr blah blah blah and it can pump out over a 1000hp. They were using that supra with a sr (the one in the Option mag) for top speed at the salt flats.

Why not? I am guessing its a heckuva lot lighter than the 2JZ engine, and if it pushing 650ps, then it would be one heckuva track car!

When they swap from a 6 to a 4 cylinder motor is mostly more weight concerns. Top Secret has a supra with a 3s-gte that puts out 750hp IIRC and its top speed was somewhere around 198

I think they also drop from a 6 to a 4 cylinder for certain racing criteria. like no 6cycls allowed in certain brackets. i can't remember were i read that.

yes, this isnt all that outrageous. like 240zx said, top secret (And several other companies in japan, i think even TRD before) swap 3s-gte's into supras because of weight, in racing where high specific output is neccessary, and lighter with the HP is better than heavier with the torque
also, you can even buy 2jz-gte swaps for 240sx's these days, so i really dont think its all that outrageous
