Im usually totally dependant on ebay for finding parts, for price and for reliability in terms of delivery time and security via feedback system.

However, ebay harsh lacks good, low offset rims.

I had the sport max 17X9's, +10offset with spacers, the fit perfectly and IMO looked really good, however.. i dont like spacers and they were VERY heavy wheels, like 53lbs w/tires heavy.

Anyways, im looking to get some lighter, lower offset 17's... id like them to be atleast 9" wide, and less than 20mm offset front and rear. If the rims are an ok price, ill do a 5 bolt conversion, but if they're too much, its just cheaper to get custom ones made.

Rim has to have atleast 2" of dish, and weigh less than 25lbs each.

If you know of any good sites for buying rims let me know.... greatly appreciated :) My budget is around $2500 shipped... less is better.

btw. already know about kodiakwheels, forgeline and ebay :hs:

Thanks...

And so this thread isnt so boring, ill post pics of my old rims and the rims on my daily driver ;)

These are my old bricks.

You should depend on everything BUT ebay for finding parts. Ebay is okay, but I'd say that in terms of wheels its really not a place to type in "240sx wheel" and expect something great.

There's plenty of vendors on here who can help you on your wheel hunt, but I'd recommend doing research in the wheel thread first, and maybe checking out what others are running / have run. Helps you purchase more on your OWN decision rather than someone else's recommendation.

Its from a 4 pc GTP conversion kit... its probably a copy of a copy of a copy, not sure what the original would be...

As for ebay and "240sx wheels"... thats hilarious that you know that, if you ever type that in you'd get the same lame crap that i always see, +44 offset wheels with a 1/2" polished lip and ugly spoke design.. ebay has NOTHING in terms of good 17's. I got my rewinds on ebay but that was lucky, i havent seen them listed since.

Laugh if you must but centerline makes a 17X9.5 rim with a 4.5" backspace called the "meteor"... its a 2 piece forged wheel that you can have custom welded to any backspacing... id obviously get the least backspaceing possible...

The gram lights are a big concideration, i saw them on some driftparts.com or something for about $2500.. only think i dont like about them is the staggered offset, id want 4 rear ones if i got those.

Someone pm'd me this link... quite interested, i have a feeling they'll be more than my budget once i include 5 bolt conversion, but all the same.. beautiful.

Im not a huge 18" fan, ill just have to make an extra 50whp to make up for them. Still probably lighter than my old rims.
