Turbonetics used to make em. Might wanna call em and see if they still do.
Also may want to ask a machine shop.

what is the purpose of the horn? or is it just for show?

by airhorn do you mean the purple velocity stack shown in your pic?
might make it easier if you call it by its realy name when searching. just a thought. :D
I thought velocity stacks were used to tune performance over ITB's, not to funnel air into a turbo

Same concept Pank. It is helping to smooth the airflow coming into the turbo or TB to help it work more efficiently.

Beat me too it. :P
You do see them a lot on ITB's and even ITB's with custom intake manifolds. Last time i checked, the debate whether an intake finlter or a velocity stack was better, was still raging on.

well, by that thinking, can you tune the length/shape of a velocity stack over a turbo to provide different powerband characteristics the way you can with ITB's?

Jegs carry some by turbonetics. Heres the link to it. If you want dirt and debris hitting your compressor blades, then go for it.

^Cause you never see any dust on the valve cover.
A velocity stack set-up is good for track use. Tracks are "usually" kept pretty clean. Higways and surface streets are not.
