Hey there, anyone know where I can get a clutch for 95 SE for cheep? like a stock one, i just need something to hold me over for a while. how much is a new stock one?  and do I HAVE to get the flywheel resurfaced? (cause that's another 50 or so).... thanks, i need to change it within about 1 1/2 weeks

Remember: low cost solution for now, my clutch is slipping pretty bad

well when my clutch went out i bought a nissan key value clutch kit from work cost me about 80 bucks. did the clutch myself and all i did was sand down the flywheel to get the glazing and dirt off. i havent had no problems after 5k+ miles.

your price might be a little more i think its around 120 customers cost for a key value kit. i forget why they call them "key value" but its still nissan parts.

Cool... I'm going to the dealer today to check it out. What grit sand paper did you use? you basically have to sand the flywheel clean right?

i used 100 grit thats what we have at work. works fine might not be the best one to use if you want to do it the right way. i've never resurfaced a flywheel professionaly but have seen new flywheel's and they are pretty smooth so i guess maybe goign with something like 1000 rit would be better. but like i said i had no problems. i just sanded down the stock flywheel for my sr20de on my sentra that im swapping from auto to manual. i first used a buzz tool that one of my techs had a rubber bit for it worked pretty good and didnt leave scuff marks like sandpaper
