I WAS LOOKING AT SOME JAPANESE MAGAZINE AND I SAW A 180SX THAT HAS IT'S HEADLIGHT OPENED HALF WAY, LOOKED LIKE NSX. DO YOU GUYS KNOW WHO SELLS THESE KIT OR HOW TO DO THIS? DO I JUST NEED TO GET A SHORTER ROD (ONE THAT ADJUSTS THE HEIGHT FOR THE HEADLIGHT)?
!!! I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT THE ONE WHERE YOU TURN THE KNOB AND THE HEADLIGHT COMES DOWN. THIS ONE ONLY GOES UP HALF WAY WHEN YOU TURN THE LIGHT ON!!!

Just take out the Head light mover uper- downer fuse and manually set it to where you want it. Then pop the fuse back in and it should work

Yup, listen to My240...do that...it's cheap and it works the same...just disable the headlight motors...

OK....here's how you do it.....

1. pull bottom of dash off (under steering wheel)
2. pull the switch to make your headlights go up and down.
3. from the wires coming out of that switch, cut the LIGHT GREEN ONE.
4. wire in a toggle switch (w/butt connectors & wire)
5. now you can adjust where you want your head lights to sit.

You don't have to pay 100! hahaha.....thats nuts. get a toggle switch at the store for 3.....

Hope this helped. I can send pics of the wiring although its simple if you need me to. any Qs? [email protected]

With the Pivot half light unit, you will be able to have the sleepy eye look when your lights are off. You can adjust the height position with a turn of a knob. When you turn on your lights, it comes up to a full position. If turning just your parking lights on, it will still stay half way. Looks cool if you have the H4 conversion with city lights installed.

Another way to have sleepeye other than manually or electronic, is get the full light kit replacement that is always sleepy eye. Here is the photo
