I only have the transmission for sale and nothing else. this transmission does not have the speed sensor on the tranny so if your going too swap in with an S13 set up or something else there is a bit extensive mods needed.
make me an offer on the tranny and also if you need it ship Zip & city would be helpful. MUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCH rather pick ups

the drive shaft has too be trimed down like 1in and also since the SR S13 5-speed has the spedo sensor in the tranmission the S15 does not its in the Diff on the S15 so you would have too work out like a sepedo thingy on the drive shaft too make the spedo work other than that. say bout $25-$75 in modifications asa DIY er that would be it.

they are few and far between, but you will need the driveshaft and the diff punkin to make everyhting play happy togather. supposidly ther is a speed sensor swap that you can search around for, when i ordered mine i found referance to it but never auctuallyheard from anyone who did it themselves. i think it was on Nicco. but good luck for the sale i am tempted if i haden't already bought and sold most of the stuff needed to swaap it out.

speed sensor issue is not a big deal its basically a optical sensor just like the ABS sensor in your VLSD pumpkins. In fact you can use those for the speed sensor. Trust me I know about this.

I heard it was a work gear sensor that you had to get from a diffrent modle of trans and mod it to fit into the S15 trans. still would like the 6 speed though.

As others have pointed out out that you didnt read the post is that you would have noticed its a 6-speed, I would agree that I would out of line asking $800 if I were trying too sell you an S13 5-speed for that price yeah that would be way out of line. so its cool you didnt want others too get riped off & you wanted too flame me for no reason , its all good & its your way of doing business and its cool.

well from the modification stand point. speed sensor modification, driveshaft triming & where the stick shift hole needs a bit of trimming it will work.
thanks for the positive post.

Its a 6 speed crammed into the casing of 5 speed and it doesn't hold as much power... sounds like a secure $800 investment when my s14 tranny (the strongest of the bunch) is already getting long-winded and i'm not even over 400hp...
That's just my point. I bet you could sell this thing for $500. $800 is asking someone to bend over and fist their own ass!

Just a correction on the S15 box thing. (I have one fitted in my S14)
S15 has NO speed sensor in the trans or diff , the s15 ABS unit generates the speedo signal from the abs sensor in the diff (THIS IS FACT).
The s15 trans has a hole for the sensor which has a cap screwed over, however the wheel that the sensor uses is missing from the trans internals, so you would need to strip the trans and fit one, (I don't know if a s14 would fit).
For my speedo i have a custom circuit that driver my speedo from my diff abs (as per the std s15, to note S15 & s14 speedo signal are different)
If you do a search you can find the thread i posted about my swap.
Must say your price is good, $800 is cheap ,I paid over $1200 for my 6 speed (it did have all the other bits you need to fit the box).

that is so cool you did all of your homework on this.
ya I saw the hole you talking about but that is very good how you did all of research on this and got it done, and you dont have any problmes with the transmission with the issue of weakness.

is this for a bare transmission? nevermind the speed sensor, that one is somewhat of a cheap fix. what about the 6sp specific parts like the flywheel, clutch, clutch fork, TO bearing, and clutch fork retaining spring?
cookie

Clutch and to bearing are interchangable with a s14 , you also need the drive shaft as none of the others fix the box.

going to be unbolt one of these transmission and show you S13 Vs. S15 the differences so stay tuned.
this transmisson will bolt up to the follwing providing you swap the bell housing
1) Rb20de & RB25DE
2) KA24 "E" an "DE"
3) L-series
4) SR20DE & "DET"
5) CA18DE & "DET"
providing swaping bellhousings and triming down the drive shaft. The issue with the speed sensor can be swaped out with an aftermarket digi set up.
