Please REFRAIN from discussing where to download PS2 games, this is not appropriate for the thread, or the board in general. (Legal Issues) Stick to my question below... kthx
Ok so I got some images of some games from someplace... the only thing is, they dont have fucking file extensions, nothing recognizes the images, no matter what file extension I give the images, and I tried 5,5409685476854 different default settings on Alcohol and Nero and it wouldnt play on my PS2. (Yes, I have a modchip... duh)
Anyone have any idea how the shit I'm supposed to burn these properly so I can play them?
TIA

Yarrrrr. LOL
Anyway, yes I tried to rename the images to .iso and .bin, no dice.
ISOBuster says theyre not valid image files.
And yes, I extracted the images.. im not a n00b. I only resorted to asking wtf is up cause I couldn't figure it out on my own.
the .sfv and parsets confirm that the original archives are intact and undamaged, but nothing recognizes the fucking images
ARGH.
Help. :(

Avast Ye Matey!
Is there no information on that someplace where you got that some game? Normally, for someplaces they have that something that says something about the file-type.

what size is the file? Have you tried exploring it with WINrar..not extracting, just looking in it. What's in there..

*shakes head*
All stuff I tried already.
One of the nfo files says its a Prassi PrimoDVD (ISO) image... I downloaded Prassi even, loaded it and Prassi says.. OMFG BAD IMAGE!!!1111!
So annoying.. I want to fucking play NeoGeo Battle Coliseum. :(
I know the images are the correct sizes, again, cause 1) the sfv and parsets say the archives are good, and two, the filesizes per the nfo match too.

maybe you got to use a cd instead of dvd, yes it sounds strange but thier was this game i couldnt figure out what the deal was wasted like 4 dvds trying to burn it. then i used a cd and it worked if the game is a small file.
is the game in ntsc of pal? i know that pal versions of games wont work on the westside of the world

depends on the chip, i have an old one, so yeah, pal games are jumbled unless i have a separate converter, but i think the chips these days should be able to handle pal or ntsc...
