ok so i installed everything tonight and bled it. i find there is a leak in between the calipers for the 30mm 300zx calipers. i bought it from a guy who said he rebuilt it. so does anyone know where i can get those o-rings that go in between the calipers?

dealer
rebuild kit from auto parts store

those seem like the most logical place to start.

Yeah, go with PDMracing, albeit they screwed me on shipping once for a set of lines for the front swap but they are helpful and have what you need.

THe o-rings are not available through Nissan. Check on FA, there was a post where someone found a compatible replacement as they must be chemical and heat resistant, regular rubber will deteriorate.

just go to o'reilly's, spend 5 dollars and get a whole rebuild kit...cuz my guess is that if it is leaking the guy prolly didnt do to good of a job and it isnt hard to rebuild them...that or you have extra parts for next time

yeah the rebuild kit is pretty cheap and you can get one at any of your big name parts stores (advance auto, pep boys, kragens, napa, etc.)

in all honesty probably not a bad idea to rebuild both calipers...i actually got rebuilt ones cause the junkyard calipers i got were fuk'd...not bad prices though, i got two rebuilt loaded calipers from advance for $200 (with core)...

thats right the rebuid kits do no come with those o-rings. They only have the rubber boots, clips to hold the boots, piston 0-rings, assembly lube, and rubber covers for the bleed screw You might want to try to tighting down the bolts on the calipers.

I know that a certain year Subaru WRX has very similar calipers to those of the Z32 in fact you can swap pads and hardware kits between the Z32 and these WRX calipers I'll try and get some pics. I bring this up becasue just maybe Subaru offers those o-rings.

Those o-rings aren't offered anywhere. You'll have to improvise.

So you aren't going to share the info with your fellow Zilvians? :loco: If you posted it here, no one else would have to leave the wonderful world of Zilvia to find it. :aw:
