Ka Help Needed!

Okay, I recently bought a 1991 coupe (Auto). I got it for $800 with a blown motor. I have a few questions. The guy I bought it from said he drove it while it was overheating and the motor eventually died (Idiot). He said it just needs a new head gasket. I pulled the head and from the naked eye everything looks good. My question is how can I tell if the head is warped and if it is can it be fixed or should i just get a new KA24DE. Also, does anybody know of where i can get a good KA24DE in the central florida area? Thanks for any help/suggestions guy's.. And no I cannot afford to just swap in a SR20.

take it to a machine shop in your area they'll nknow what to do. or if you have a straight edge(can't remember exactly what it's called at the moment)place it across the bottom face of the head in several places and at different angles, each time using a feeler guage or looking to see if there are any gaps under the straight edge. basically if you can see under the straightedge it's warped, it may also neeed to be pressure tested to check for cracks, and the valve seats should also be checked.
