The only time I've seen them in pics, they have looked pretty cheesey, personally. To each his own though.

I've seen them on a dudes car, PERSONALLY I think they're ugly, and a waste of money.

yea i was thinking they were ugly too but never seen them before on a car. The purple colore ruins it a lot. It would be sweet if it were a nice dark tint and the silvia lit up like the s14s

I have them on my car....they are ok, but, they suck when your on a track and don't have the right b-pillar covers....they fall out a lot. I will see if I can dig up a pic of them, but, your be better getting the windows tinted. And yes, the silvia does light up...if your wiring is done right.

i have a set. there mint condition no scratches. one of the electro luminesent strips is bad. but ive had em sitting in a box for 2 years. there nice at night. would look sick on a mint green two tone coupe with silvia front
they also make a front silvia front grille that lights up "SILVIA"
they should hold in place if u have all the clips on the covers and u could always use double sided tape on the edges or some type of adhesive

On s14: I like mine, although I would never dream of wiring them up so they light up. Just seems a little too ricey to me, that's all. Then again, look at my sideskirts. :hs: (Not my fault though, really).

I'm curious as to what power they need to be at to be lit.

Mine didnt come with the power inverter. So i went to kragens and bought one of those ricer interior pin stripe kits that light up. I cut the pin stri[p part off after the inverter and wired it to my lights. I think a indeglo gauge controler might work too. I am going to send my non working wet to mamos and see if he can make them LED

Why convert to LED? There are companies that sells the indiglo strips in all kinds of colors and sizes. I replaced them on my doorsills and the windows and they all work fine now.

If I ever get a voltmeter, I will measure the current after the box.

Zen,
I just got the door sills and it did not come with the wiring. Can you please tell me how to have them work when the door opens. I would really appreciate it.
Wishing you the best,
Carlos Doria
