I was just wondering if anyone on this here fine forum <insert southern accent> knew someone that has purchased any cars from evolution imports. They seem like a great company and very professional. Im going to be going to school 10 min away from that place and when I come home Im gonna buy one of thier cars!(or thats wut Ive been telling myself for the past 3 years) Even if its not a GTR, Maybe a GTi-R, something RHD, just to have it. Ive been saving my money blah blah. Yeah, so, I was just wondering.

I know were their GTR's and other cars are put together and have seen a few of them. The cars are shipped to the Bahama's and taken apart. Then they are shipped to Central Florida and put back together as a kit car. The whole legalization process is convoluted to me and they don't discuss the whole process as trade secret.
The whole process takes a long time. So, if you expect the car anytime soon...

LOL, yeah, my friends are the one's putting them back together :) I've seen quite a few of the cars and give them a HUGE thumbs up. They just got done putting together a GTiR, a nice black RHD Supra and a silver R33 GTR.

Wow, thats crazy, I wold have never thought in a million years thats how they woould have done that whole process!
Its a good thing they dont say that they take them apart and put them back together. It just seems to me if they said that they might lose a lot of potential business because some people might not think its original.
What kind of "taking apart" do these cars go through, like the engine wheels and normal parts, or are they chopped in half like military vehicles?

Umm... it's no big secret. They will tell you that themselves.
And they just remove the drivetrain and suspension.
