I'm looking for some oldskool rims to have fun with it. I know the 200sx wheels fit well on a 240sx but I want something larger.
I don't know that much with the 300zx wheels or other company like toyota when they were using 4x114.
Feel free to post pictures
I don't feel like scatching my ssr while blowing my tire on track. :2f2f:

go for some celica supra wheels. soemtimes youll get lucky and find some nice clean low offset wheels. ive seen Prime wheels or Eagle alloys that were painted black go for 300+ when actually they bought it at the yard for 100 bucks. :keke:

1st gen RX7 GSL-SE wheels... but they are too small (6.5) and shitty offset (+40 ish)..
check out the wheels or picture thread, I think there were some rides with old school wheels.

I got a set of 300ZX TT rims in San Diego. 9in o meat to pavement on the back rims. they are an option, but i belive that the fronts require spacers.

Most early model Saabs have a 4x114.3 bolt pattern. A friend got some stock 15 inch bbs rims off one.

My friend has the 99 Mustang rims on his Zenki S14, looks badass with 235/40/17 tires on them.

FB's are 4x110, so no go on FB wheels for a 240sx
FC 4 and 5 and FD 5 lug will fit, but the offsets aren't anyhting better then what we already have.
edit: nevermind... i just realized you were talking about 84-85 which iirc are 4x114.3

i HATE that style mustang rims. some of the worst ones they ever put on Mustangs. the torque thrust wheels the newer (02 GT maybe) used are MUCH nicer. they look pretty fuckin good on 240sx's too suprisingly. the nice gunmetal/gray/black w/ the polished lip looks real good.

Sure, but they probably aren't as cheap as these were.

The only problem I see with the 280z wheels in that picture is that the tires are too damn big. I think the wheels would look better with a smaller tire and on and S13

Celica Supra wheels have too small a hub diameter.
I have 280Z wheels (14x6 +10) up front and Celica Supra wheels (14x7 +8 w/ hubs bored out) out back with my snow tires

It looks like ass, but I really don't care, as 14" tires are absurdly cheap, and my car is an unstoppable beast in the snow.

280Z front "flushness" at higher than stock ride height and 195/70/14 tire

Celica Supra rear "flushness" with 500+ lbs of engine crap in the hatch and 195/75/14 snow tire.

hehe. I used to run those GSL-SE wheels on my 86. They are kind of ugly though.

no way rennen... 240sx's are no good in the snow or the rain. they're so terrible, omg. [/dumbass]
i hate people that say these cars cant handle in the rain/snow. get some snow tires and learn how to drive. i drove a '95 camaro through 2 new england winters w/ allseason tires on it.

lol, no. just giving an example. im sick of people bitching about 240s being shitty cars in the rain because they dont know how to drive in shitty conditions and dont use the right tires. people dont know what happened when they were going 50mph around a hairpin turn on worn down falken azenis in pouring rain...:duh:
