what is exactly need to get rid of it? Yes i search every just say it can do it. But i am bout to spend my hard earn money for the emanage, and importsolutions.net from this site who hosted a group buy said he would sell me one. He said all you need is the emanage itself and the wiring harness? To me that just dont make sense. I went to emanage site and they not much said the same thing. I think someone pointed out you need the boost pressor sensor. Is that correct? I just want to verify. I know for the AEM EMS you need a map sensor , is that same as boost pressor sensor (as labeled from greddy)?

MAP sensor = manifold absolute pressure sensor..
boost would imply only under boosted conditions but more then likely does the same thing. And yes, that's all you need to eliminate the MAF; a MAP sensor.

i know what a map is.. and when reading through AEM forums they say use a MAP, you can use a GM map sensor or buy a AEM map sensor, but when reading through greddy.. all it implies is that it can elminate the maf.. but with what sensor? I would assume a map... and i read once someone use the boost pressure sensor.

that is why I asked, does boost pressure sensor = map sensor?

I would think they would be the same. And I'm sure that the Greddy sensor is the same.

Regular emanage still requires a maf, even when you use a map. You have to upgrade to emanage ultimate to get rid of the maf completely.

Sorry, I should have clarified. Yes a MAP is all you need to eliminate a MAF as long as your EMS supports it.

so Gzerto.. the pressure sensor is what need to elimate the maf right?

just to clarify.

if so that mean greddy pressure sensor = map

Not to jack the thread or anything... but I was wondering if anyone has any direct experience with emanage ultimate yet. one of the reasons was the map sensor option as well as speed correction and speed limiter elimination. I'm trying to decide whether I'm going to pick up one for my car. I'm a little hesitant based on some of the feedback that I heard about emanage (blue box), and I haven't heard anything good or bad about ultimate. Gzero is it working well for you.
