Well, first of all, what's the difference between "Super Silent II" and "Super Silent III?" Looking at the pictures, it looks like the resonator on the III is longer than the II, but the II picture is at a different angle so... yeah.

And I also wonder if it'd still be "super silent" with a KA? Yeah, 80mm on a KA, boo hoo. But hey, Yashio Factory parts are always nice. Yay.
I don't even have sound notes, shit. But hey, "Super Silent" in the actual name of the exhaust? I'm fucking sold. Haha.

Super Silent II is a basic 2pc Exhaust with the bolt flange sitting by the rear subframe.... which makes the exhaust hang lower with an Angle exit.

Super Silent III is a Nismo style 2pc Exhaust with the bolt flange at the rear of the subframe... this alows the exhaust to sit higher for better road clearance, and is a Straight exit.

Mad Scientist, are there any other rear mufflers offered by the Yashio Factory that is not shown on the site for the type III? If not is there any way a purchase of the first section could be purchased so I could modify my current muffler to work on it? I'm not such a fan of the now standard bean can but prefer stock appearing dual tips or something along the lines of the Blitz DD.

All Yashio Exhaust are Canister Style... and only sold as a full unit.
If you want a clean stock looking exhaust you can't beat the RS*R.
I havebe debating to get a Buddy Club spec II for my S14, to stay away from the canister style... even thought about welding 2 of them together... only other viable option IMO is the Fujitsubo Power Getter... only because I love the long Tip and the super deep tone.

yeah.. but suprisingly it dosen't give me too many problems. of course the car isn't all that low. it sits better no than in the pics that are up. new solid hangers made a big difference vs the old worn out ones.
I'm sure my neighbors hate me coming home from work at 4 in the morning :)
