I saw a later model cavalier much like this one at the gas pump today, and thought the wheels look eerily similar:

Cheaper alternative...?

Lot's of stock wheels look similar. This in no way means they be the same bolt pattern, offset, size, width, etc., etc.
If you're looking for Stock S14 SE wheels, then just keep looking. They aren't exactly a rare find.

93-95 SW20s have five spokes that look identical...lower offset too i believe...cheaper? no...s14 fives go for hella cheap anyways...

Way no, I guess they are both 5 spoke so that counts for something?

those aren't as similar as older escort wheels are to s13 se's

I don't think there are any pricing differences (in junkyard or forums) on Jbody wheels vs. s14 SE alloy? Arbitrage opportunity to make money? probably not.
though the escort wheels do look like 240 SE's :keke:

GM 5bolt wheels are 5x120. Unless you've got a mean set of drill bits and some large washers they aren't going on.

the better question here is why are you looking into them, unless they are lighter/put down a solid 9 inch wide swath or rubber to the road, they are not any bit of an upgrade.
