I was thinking about buying Volk 57s from my friends MR2. I dont know if they sit good on my s13 coupe.

Volk Gramlights 57s 5x114.3
Rear 17x8 1/2 40+offset
Rear Tires Toyo Proxez 235/40/17
Front 17x7 1/2 38+offset I think
Front Tires Toyo Proxez 215/40/17

What do you guys tihnk?

yikes batman

no way

need to go lower

i wouldnt really bother buying 17x7s, thats my personal opinion. if i remember correctly, 57S had not so happening fitment for 240sx, especially for the 4 luggers.

you should run a 8/9 combo, offset in the mid 20s and mid 30s (i.e 17x8+25 17x9+35) for conservative.

for aggressive run 17x9+20 or 17x9+15 all around

or if your friend is giving you a cant pass up deal, then just run bolt on spacers, 25mm at least

Thats what we call el terible'. Get ATLEAST 8 inch up front. And if you want a conservative look, + 25 offset. I like offsets much lower, but thats ME. :D

whoa you better take that +40 and +38 some where else. Do some research and you will find the wheels that suit you.

those are some shitty offsets. MR cars run higher offsets then FR cars, varify with NSX as well. something that is like 20mil lower offset would be sufficient.

Biggest question of all, do you have 5 lug?

Wow, what weak offsets. Now if he would have spent 5 min looking through pics of the wheels/offsets thread he would know those are weak like an alcoholics kidney!

Wow, I'm pretty sure that you could have found your answer by searchin OFFSETS. Also, HELL no, those are the gayest baby widths, along with GAY offsets for a FF car. Don't bother taking them, unless they're like. . .$200. But no amount of money, or lack thereof is ok for running battleship rims.

Okay. I guess ill just wait til I pass by another sets of 57s that would fit. And yes I do have 5lug. Im currently running GT-R wheels.

What GT-R wheels?

If you have R33 wheels, then 20mm bolt on spacers will flush your stuff out.

If you have R34 wheels, I think those are 30 offset as well? If so, 20mm bolt on spacers will also flush it out.

If you already have GT-R wheels, just stick with those, don't even bother with Gram Lights.

the 57s (non-pro model) doesn't come in 8/9, only 8.5 and 9.5

Go with 8.5 +22 (if u can find it, discontinued) and 9.5 +22

otherwise ur stuck with 8.5 +30 in front

Or you can copy glenn's setup (nerv GS)

17x8.5 +30 and 17x9.5 +39 (i think). You can actually put tires under metal fenders with those on an s13.

17x9.5 +12 w/ 195/35/17's right? =P

If he's timid enough to think about 17x7's, i dont think he's gonna be sporting chmercer/nitekid sizes anytime soon.

I have 17x9.5 +12 up front, yea that probably wont fit without overfenders, unless you love camber, I could have made mine with with my coilovers (but then they have can have a rediculous amount of camber).

In the rear i hvae 18x9.5 +12 and that fits under stock fenders with a pull, but I have overfenders in the rear and need spacers.

225/45/17s up front (probably dropping to 215/40/17s soon since its hard to find 225/40/17s) and 235/40/18s in the rear.
