Ok I have been trying the search function for the past couple of days and i always get the same error when searching.

All i need to know is what is involved when putting the s14a front end on my 96, lighting, fitting, and wiring wise. Because looking around from shop to shop online the 95-96 and the 97-98 are about the same for parts.

I will probably be having my friends uncle put it on and i will be getting a bomex front bumper instead of wasting my money on the oem

thanks guys

sorry for being the 987 person to post this, but im sure you can understand my predicament, and will be probably 1 of 5 out of the 987 that actually do this swap instead of talking out my ass

its really not hard at all, it should be a bolt on all around. I would look into a carbon fiber hood, or 6 vent hood. The oem hood will prolly run your more just as the oem bumper would.

im not worried really about the fit just about how easy the wiring is for the headlights

Not true at all.....When I priced an OEM front bumper and hood for my car after my incident I found the prices were realtively cheap considering...

.OEM front fascia: $309.83

.OEM hood $350.82

You find an aftermarket front bumper/hood for that much let me know, otherwise you'll at best just have to come up with the remaining cash after the insurance pays up to what the OEM stuff will cost.

This being said understanding prices of OEM stuff may vary from state to state, but can't possibly be that large of a margin pricewise...just a thought.

Trust me it sucks...I only wish I had the cash just to go ahead and have ordered the full Gracer kit and had the whole car sprayed when having it fixed...oh well

there are plenty of shop online for body parts, the hardest part i seem to find is the hood

they have both 95-96 and 97-98 headlights priced at about 140 per light, but i dont know how great they are

I say 140.00 is good as long as it comes with everything.I found a headlight assembly for 164.00+s/h.Tha comes witht the whole thing includeing wireing for the headlights.I don't think it will be hard to wire the headlights they were just different design. It might be direct bolt on after changing the rest of the stuff you canget most of the parts from www.parts.com if you cant find it anywhere else.

Have you ever considered a 'Strawberry Face' AKA S15 Front Conversion?

Or look for guys who have done the conversion to get their old parts from them @ a HUGE discount?
