Wondering if anybody here is running the 300zx front caliper upgrade with the stock S14 zenki MC? Can you comment on how the brake pedal feel is?

Feels great! Just make sure you bleed the brakes very well. Speed bleeders make life easier.

I have Z32 brakes all around w/ stock S14 AT MC. The pedal feels soft compared to other cars, but the brakes do their job, and will lock up if I stomp on it. I guess I'll upgrade the MC if it ever goes bad, but I don't really see a need for it yet.

I have Z32 front and rear brakes on my Zenki with the stock S14 m/c. The pedal is a little softer, but not much. I probably won’t upgrade the m/c unless mine goes out.

get ss lines and good pads. that takes up most of the "soft" feeling

I have z32 fronts with I don't even know what pads....and zenki MC. Pedal feels fine. In fact, I don't recall noticing much of a difference at all in pedal feel after I did the swap.

hey is it safe to run the Z brakes with the oem S14 hard lines? Or is it just a bad idea to not swap in the Z hard lines?

Z hardlines won't work since it's a 4channel ABS system and the actuator in the rear of the car.

Now if you mean the rubber lines to the calipers, yes they're fine. Why would they not be, the fluid pressure doesn't increase with larger calipers.

hrm, ok. Thanks for the info. Any advice on how to bend the oem S14 lines to fit onto the 17/16 Z MC? (besides the obvious answers [carefully]~ I severed a fuel line once on a rusted fuel tank in my old hachi, and that just made things a pain in the ass)
