I will hopefully be getting an S13 next week, which has no motor, and then swapping an SR into it eventually. Anyway, I have a not so great drving record (11 points and 2 totalled cars). I was just wondering what insurance would be like for an '89 S13 would be monthly. I'm not planning on getting full coverage on the count that I can't afford it!
Thanks
WOW, 11 points and 2 totals...shit!
Mine is between 130-150 a month for full covarage on my s14. 17 year old, primary driver, perfect record.

Well, this will not be my daily driver. I have a daily beater, its an '84 Ford LTD. Insurance on that is $128 a month, I can't imagine what it will be for an S13. Maybe I can get recreational insurance or something.

well i pay 215 a month...18, perfect record, good grades, alarm discount full coverage
apparently in texas the s13 fastback moved into the "classic sports car" category, so i get shafted like no other. There should be a rule that a sports car has to go 0-60 faster than 5 seconds...just for insurance reasons
i also live in houston, which has more cars than most cities have people...so that might have something to do with it
we have zero public transportation <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

State Farm.... you would think they could bring that down a bit, and it's not even my daily driver
