I purchased this car in July.
Nothing wrong with the car. Idles perfect, no smoking, no noises, tranny shifts smooth, no overheating, no misfiring, no monkey business. I took it to 110mph+ once. Car climbs speed quickly and effortlessly. All 4 tires have great tread. Rebuilt title.

Ex-Girlfriend ran it into a fence. Front bumper needs paint. Here are pics of what it looks like as of recent. All this car needs is an easy paint job to look sweet again.

You were selling this car for $2500, no one bit, then it went into a fence and you lowered the price $250 bucks... your selling price in the first place was a little high, I think you need to come down with the price if you NEED to sell it...

I'm the dickhead? :goyou:
Anyway. I have decided to lower the price a little. Call for more info. I wont post it. I'd like to deal with only serious potential buyers. I need to sell this car ASAP so that I can take care of some tickets that I owe. The ARMY will not ship me out until my record is squeeky clean. You already know I was asking $2,500... Now $2,250... Now less. So call, arrange a meeting/test drive and then we'll talk business.
Car has 101,900 as of today. Needs oil change at 103,000 and could use a tune-up, brakes, alignment and fluid flushes. But then again that's all general maintenance that should be done to any recently acquired vehicle. The car does not need anything right away. But I recommend the above. It did get a new water pump and muffler since it's been in my hands. Tires have good tread but I don't like the brand or anything so I would also suggest better tires. It has a rebuilt title (That's how I purchased it). The seller said it was hit on the front driver corner and had driver fender and headlight repaired. Bumper and hood were fine. However an Insurance company ended up fixing it for whatever and it got tagged as a rebuilt. There's a local currency exchange that will register the car without an inspection. I beleive local law requires that you have the car inspected by the dept. of motor vehicles prior to registrating. But this currency exchange takes care of that in a jiffy. So it's a non issue.
Thank you and take care! :rawk:

Do to the extreme urgency that I'm facing I'm letting it go for $1,700 OBO.
Whoever comes closest to $1,700 wins.

Take your time?:goyou:
I'm not prepared to go any lower than that. I picked it up in July for $2,500 myself and have only added 6k to the clock. Besides, $1,700 almost doesn't even cover the amount that I need to pay in tickets before the ARMY will swear me in.
I have a couple of dudes that are close to $1,700 but not close enough & I have a NAVY Sailor that will come get it but not until next weekend. I would like to sell it "yesterday". Title on hand.

I did an autotrader search for '89-'93 240's within 25 miles of my zip code. 10 matches. Lowest is $1,000 but you dont want that garbage, Highest is in the 5k range and average price is $3,245.00 ... How can no one want to buy my car at $1,700?:goyou:
I do however have several offers around $1,500 for next week or possibly even a week after that, BUT, I need to sell ASAP and the difference of $200 from $1,500 to $1,700 does matter to me being as how I dropped it that far from $2,250 which was my starting asking price. Don't miss your chance.

But you also hit a fence and did about $500-600 in damage.

$600!!??? That's way too much for a front bumper. Are you kidding? $200 at the most around here man.
As if whoever buys this car isnt planning on changing the entire front end or body kitting it. If you're not a potential buyer. Stay away from posting on my thread... :mrmeph:

Yes. I have an offer at $1,600 for this coming Sunday. Guy is pretty serious, but he left no deposit so anyone can still come and outbid him. He might be waiting on fridays paycheck or something.

The guy did say that he will buy the car tomorrow. Which, beleive me, I would love more than $1,600 right about now so anyone that can offer more than that by $100 (E.G $1,700) Will beat him. I'll let you know what happens.
