1993 Nissan 240sx Coupe
5sp
Blue/Green exterior, Black/Grey interior
138k miles
No power anything, no power steering and no a/c... lightest of the 93's

The good:

-Car has never seen a winter, and is probably the cleanest s13 u will find in wny. Frame is in really good condition, which is becoming harder and harder to find on these cars.
-Comes with some suspension work: Tokico blues, with H&R springs. Tein Tie rods, Whiteline tension rod bushings. Has 16" konigs, front tires are about a year old with alot of tread left. The rear passanger tire is pretty much bald (ie: one wheel peel) and wll need to be replaced.
Auto-x'd this car at batavia as it sits right now, and it was very respectable finished in the top 1/4 of novice class, and thats with not so great kuhmo 712's in the rear.
-Interior is in good shape, dash has no cracks etc
-Exterior is straight, driver door has some damage but i can source you one if needed
- New clutch installed less than 10,000 miles ago, All 4 calipers also replaced less than 10,000 miles ago

I've been daily driving the car all summer, made the 7 hr trip to carlisle there and back without any problems. Starts up everytime without any problems.

The bad:

- The input shaft bearing in the transmission is pretty much gone....which makes for alot of noise (similar to a throwout bearing sound i guess u could say). Still shifts fine and whatnot, but noisey
- The motor burns oil, i suspect valve seals but never really got into it. I add about a quart of oil every 3 weeks of driving.
- The above mentioned driver door, dented
- The front bumper and driver fender are not the original ones, they were just krylon painted but look decent at the same time lol
- Flip up headlights do not work, so i just leave them up all the time
People are giving away KA motor's and tranny's, so the first 2 really won't cost much of anything if your handy with a wrench. It just never bothered me THAT much to look into fixing it since the car still drove fine.

All in all, the car is a lil rough around the edges, but is a great shell if your looking to build an sr20det swapped car, or just want somthing to turn into an auto-x car. And at the same time, i really could be continued to be drivin as is for quite some time still.

Kbb says: Consumer Rated Condition:Fair "Fair" condition means that the vehicle has some mechanical or cosmetic defects and needs servicing but is still in reasonable running condition. This vehicle has a clean title history , the paint, body and/or interior need work performed by a professional. The tires may need to be replaced. There may be some repairable rust damage.

i'm not gonna give it away but with winter coming i really don't want to have to store it since i'll have the rx7 back next summer anyways, kinda pointless. Want $1500, basically all the mods are free to the next owner. All i ask is that she gets a good home!
