what is that stuff when they... lets say... when they make a new car from the drawing board... they first sculpt the car with putty..... what the hell is that putty¿ and where can i get some¿

When I took an art class we had plaster poured in a milk carton. Let it fully cure, and started to sculpt away.

Just use bondo. Then you can sand it and even paint over it.

my vote goes to oil based, seeing as i have worked water based, and it wasn't the best. but then again, i think it is the sculptor that determines how well the clay is used.
