So since i got my 93 240, the lights on my HVAC have been out. The small dial that selects the speed and hot to cold is working but the rest is completely out. I got working bulbs that go into the top of the control box and i get nothing, and i searched and found a write up from an s14, yet im looking at my circuit board right now from a spare box I have, and i see no bulbs on the circuit board? Any other ideas?

Check your fuse box. The fuse labeled A/C provides power for your HVAC lights and vent selector. My S13 had the same thing happen. I blew a fuse on a more important system, and replaced it with the AC fuse to get home, not thinking that I needed it since I removed the AC compressor. With the fuse removed, my car experianced the same symptoms as you describe.
Good luck.

Actually i did check the fuse and it was fine last night. Woke up this morning, checked again because something told me to, and pulled the cig lighter fuse and it was no good, replaced it and tonight the lights work!

Weird. My cigarette lighter fuse controls my clock.
