the interior is VERY clean. About as clean as they get.

carpet has no abnormal stains, no rips in the seats.
cloth interior
everything works!

That doesnt even look like the same car. The car in the drift pic has a kit and no spoiler. His car doesnt have a kit and has an se spoiler. Unless he changed it in order to sell it. :faint:

i see..i know man..that guy is trying to get all the money he put in the car back...its a clean ride like yours...no doubt..but theres no way hell get even close to what hes asking..ppl just dont understand the money you put in your car just goes out the windows..youre better off putting back to stock and sell it..you dont have much mods..so it doesn apply..

you guys are crazy thinking koukis should be cheap cars. a stock kouki s14 should cost no less than 7k stock! whats all this nonsence of koukis only costing 6k stock. not in cali atleast.

If people don't like the price, keep it to your fuckin-selves. If he wants to ask a million dollars, that's his business.

Anyway, I can vouch for the fact that stock, sub-100k mile 97-98 5spds sell for $10,000 in the DC area all the time. The bottom line is that KBB is completely fucking irrelevant if there are NO CARS selling for less than that. If people were letting their cars go for $7k or $8k, then that's what they'd sell for, but that's never what people seem to be asking, at least not around here, and so, that's not what they're worth. Something is worth whatever people are willing to pay for it, and people are willing to pay $10k+.

I bought mine for $9800 a year ago, and I've gotten a couple of five figure offers for it, which I have no intention whatsoever of taking.

Just because someone saw a 160k mile '97 Automatic for sale in Wyoming for $5k doesn't mean that this guy's car isn't worth $10,500.

Summary: Put the car on Autotrader for $11,000 and you'll get your 10.5, probably from someone who's parents are buying the car for them, or someone who's got a shiny Capital One Auto Finance blank check and doesn't give a fuck.

I just bought a totally bone stock AT pearl white kouki with 68k on the OD for $9,300. He is not asking too much for his car, in fact if I lived closer to him I would have snagged his instead of the one that I bought. Yea, the bluebook may be way lower than his asking price for the 1997-1998 240sx but you have to consider that it is a very rare car that is in high demand. You can't drive down the road to the grocery store and see koukis for sale alongside the road like you can like you do S13's. It is totally lame to come into this guys thread and flame him for the price he is asking, I actually think it is pretty low considering that he has Z brakes on there, low mileage, coilovers, and the fact that it is extremely clean.

Good luck with the sale. Want to sell me your brakes? :)

Edit: Just curious...Why are you selling your 95+ 240SX and looking for another 95+240SX?
