For a first mod I suggest an SR20. I know you dont want to get one, but you really really really should. Or at least when you can afford it. Try driving stock for a few weeks see what the KA can do. Then maybe the Injen CAI (w/ the extension of course). But I say go with the SR. Just dont buy any other mods. Cut back on groceries. Maybe a little man whoring if you need to and BAM that motor is yours Post some pics of the ride when you get a chance.

Cool! Welcome to the club...and the forum!

I would definately recommend driving it stock for a couple weeks to a month just to get a good feel for the car, that way you'll appricate each mod even more.

I can't give any recommendations on a first mod w/out haveing a price range or what you want to do with the car (ie: power/handeling/looks)

Give us some more info and we'll give you more recommendations. Give us pictures too we love those...

Cheap Mod: Injen Intake.
Middle Mod: Injen Intake + Cold Air Extension
Pricey Mod: Quality springs and shocks + better tires.

You'll get more fun out of the springs and shocks, but you'll get a bit of a power boost from the Intake.

have fun.

Congrats on the S14! There are always your basic bolt on mods for the KA like exhaust, intake, & headers. However if you do plan on doing an SR swap anytime in the future, it would be best to buy product that will work with your SR. The Exhaust bolts up the same to the KA as the SR. Another thing you might want to work on after you've got the feel for your car, is upgraded suspension. There are tons of mods you can do, but it all depends on your budget of course
