I did a little bit of research, but im still a little confused. I just bought the car, the guy I bought it from told me the clutch was changed 3mo ago. I drove it probably harder than I should of, practicing my drifting, and now the clutch slips.
If I get medium hard on it, or drive on the freeway the clutch will slip. Tomorrow I am going to try to adjust it at the pedal, but do you think that I ruined the clutch?

Um, if you were "drifting" then you may have screwed the clutch.

Was the new clutch aftermarket or OEM?

you drifted on it? and now its slipping , you toasted your clutch, you might get some more life out of it by adjusting your pedal, but in the end its days are numbered, if its slipping. Stock clutches are pretty soft. Drifting, or trying to Drift, on a stock clutch, will toast it if done repeatedly.

well there are certain maint. things that will also wear on your clutch. is you clutch master and slave cylinder new? does your pedal come all the way back up when you let off it, or does it seem to stick. if it doesn't come all theway up, its riding on the clutch burning it up. clutch may not be installed right, but if its been going 3 months, thats unlikely. but beating on a stock clutch is definatly a quick way to send it in the shitter

did it smell like fish after drifts or hard acceleration? If not then you didn't smoke the clutch, it's either old or it's something else. you can try bleeding the cylinders. It is known for s13 clutch cylinder to go bad so you can replace those if the bleeding doesn't help. Last reserve is to replace the clutch. If your cylinder is bad, problem is going to come back even after you get a new clutch. When selecting new clutch, since you are going to practice driting a lot I would invest in something good. such as exedy street/race. ACT stree/race or a 3 puck pad and heavy duty pressure plate. Those I have tried personally and I would highly recommand.
