Test drive one first. I won't lecture any more than that, but just .. seriously .. drive it. And drive it with the top up, too. It's like visiting a campus on a rainy day. If you like it then, you'll always like it.

Edit: Oh, and good luck finding one for $3k.  I would've said roughly twice that.

So what is the exact point of a chop-top? To just create a lower roof for the car? &nbsp;Wouldn't that really lower the integrity &nbsp;of the support pillars???

someone posted pics of a choptop (roof still attached...just lower) and it actually looked pretty cool...rear window visibility disappeared though...i dont think you'd be able to see more than 5 inches worth out of the back window
