whatup ya'll!

some of you may know i recently joined the army. basic wasn't all too bad. 4 months without my car was tough. I'm currently in intel school in Ft. Huachuca Arizona. I drove my car here a couple of weeks ago, 9 hour drive. not very fun. So i'm flying back to LA for all my other 4 day weekends but driving back for Christmas.

My first duty station is projected as Yong San Korea. I'll be going there in Mid Feb of next year. Unfortunately they don't allow personal vehicles in Korea for military, so i can't take my car. No car for a year, i'm not sure how much i'll still be into 240s and drifting after a year and a half away from it. The good news is Korea is a short flight away from Japan and i plan on visiting it finally.

I'm not going to sell my car, it'll be collecting dust for a while but hopefully, one day i'll get back to her and drop in an engine/cage/etc...

any Arizona guys know of any events in the Tucson area? i'm about 1 hour away.

take care, and enjoy the good life. Being in the military made me realize how much i've taken for granted, like late night cruises or hanging out in life plaza, haha.

they do auto X at the airport right down the road from you, ill look for the SCCA link. nothing goes on in tucson anymore(just drag), but there are phx events now and then. check out www.az240sx.org for info. you will probably get painfully hazed in there, but if you stick it out for a few days, everyone will get cool. its a good forum. get the hell out of vista on weekends, that town sucks.

Just don't forget to drain all your fluids, and disconnect your battery when you leave. Or you'll be in for a major suprise when you go to start er' up again.

Dood...Sierra Vista is the shiznet!!! K you know im lying but I lived out there when my dad worked at Huachuca. Its better now than back when i was there back in 96. Tucson would prolly be the spot for you since theres nothing there.

As far as Korea...how far is that base from seoul? And another thing...the fook you thinking joining the ARMY??? :D Your one of the few suckas in here cuz most military peeps in here are jarhead or chairforce
